Explosion hits US-led coalition convoy in Iraq

SANAA, Aug. 13 (YPA) – An explosion has struck a US-led coalition convoy in Iraq, in the south of the country, Iraq’s state security media cell said Wednesday.

“An explosive device exploded with a civilian vehicle contracted by the international coalition forces at al-Batha junction in Dhi Qar province,” the cell said in a press release.

“The explosion burned one of the wheels of the convoy,” it added.
