Israeli occupation forces bomb Gaza Strip

SANAA, Aug. 12 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces launched an extended offensive against several positions in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian media reported on late Tuesday night

During the attack, the Occupying Army used warplanes helicopter and gunships that hit several targets, they also used heavy artillery and tanks.

The Palestinian media confirmed that Israeli reconnaissance planes targeted a resistance position in the Netzarim area in the central Gaza Strip, causing explosions across the areas.

According to the Palestinian media, the occupying forces fired at checkpoints on the border and the central Gaza Strip.

“The Israeli army helicopter fired two missiles at the Nahda area of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip,” the media added.

A single rocket  targeted an area near Gaza International Airport in Rafah city, according to Palestinian media.

The Occupation Army used artillery to attack a field control postin the east and center parts of the Gaza Strip.
