Citizen died, tortured to death in Islah party prison in Shabwa

SHABWA, Aug. 12 (YPA) – The Civil Network for Development, Media and Human Rights revealed that a Yemeni citizen died as a result of being tortured to death in Islah party’s militias prison in Shabwa province..

Medical sources in Maifah hospital said that they received the civilian, Yaslam Abdual-Maniaa as a dead body on Saturday August 8, 2020 AD, by the forces loyal the Second Brigade of Islah party.

Reliable sources confirmed that he had been subjected to the most horrific types of torture and ill-treatment since his arrest.

He was placed inside a closed container, which led to his death as a result of the torture that he was subjected to inside the prison, the sources added.
