Roadside bomb blast targets convey transporting equipment for international coalition in southern Iraq

SANAA, Aug. 10 (YPA) – Iraq’s state security media cell on Sunday  said that a civilian convey  transporting equipment to the international coalition in the south of the country was attacked.

“An improvised explosive device exploded and targeted a civilian convoy transporting equipment to the international coalition on the international road in Dhi Qar province,” the cell said in a press release.

The accident resulted in minor damage to one of the wheels.

It is noteworthy that the recent period has seen the targeting of conveys on the movement of equipment and equipment for the international coalition in a number of areas of Iraq.
