STC militias storm home of Socotra’s governor

SOCOTRA, Aug. 8 (YPA) – The UAE-backed southern transitional council militiamen stormed on Saturday home of Socotra’s island governor, Ramzi Mahroos appointed by exiled Hadi’s government, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the sources, the security-belt forces stormed several homes of political activists with UAE armored vehicles in old Hadibo city.

This comes after the militia raided the house of the governor’s brother, in the city of Hadibo, and looted its contents more than a month and a half ago.
