Capital Mayor directs to quickly address conditions of homes affected by floods

SANAA, Aug. 8 (YPA) – Mayor of the Capital Sanaa, Hamoud Obbad, directed on Saturday the rescue and emergency teams to quickly address the conditions of homes affected by floods as a result of the heavy rainfall.

During his meeting with the Emergency Committee for Disaster Management, Obbad stressed on the importance of providing urgent shelter and aid and food items to the affected people due to the floods.

He discussed means and plans to find final treatments for drainage gatherings of waters in the tunnels and channels that hit citizens and their houses.
