President al-Mashat affirms Yemen’s solidarity with Lebanon over Beirut explosion

SANAA, Aug. 5 (YPA) – President Mahdi Al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council, affirmed Yemen’s solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese people and the Lebanese government following a massive explosion that rocked the Lebanese capital Beirut, which has killed at least 100 people and injured more than 30,00 others.

In a letter to the Lebanese President, Michel Aoun, President Al-Mashat expressed his sincere condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims and those injured in the attack, calling for solidarity with the Lebanese government with the necessary support  to overcome the effects of the devastation and repercussions of the Port of Beirut at the earliest time.
