Al-Qaeda elements deploy in several districts in Abyan

ABYAN, July 23 (YPA) – Dozens of al-Qaeda militants deployed in several districts of Abyan province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources said that Islah party’s militias polarized elements of al-Qaeda from Sawmaah district of Bayda province to Lawdar and Mawdia districts of Abyan province.

According to the sources, the terroristic elements started to deploy in the districts and started to launch terroristic attacks against security sites belonging to the security-belt forces.

Previously, Revolutionary Abyan Youth Movement revealed that al-Qaeda elements deployed in several areas of Abyan and they confirmed that the leaders of al-Qaeda established new camps in Omairan area of Mawdia district.
