YSMO destroys 37 tons of expired foodstuff in Ibb

SANAA, July 23 (YPA) – The Yemen Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control Organization (YSMO) destroyed on Thursday 37 tons of expired foodstuff in Ibb province.

The director of the YSMO’s branch in the governorate, Raya Al-Ansi, that most of expired foodstuff were belonging to the World Food Program.

Al-Ansi pointed out that the operation came within the framework of the efforts made to protect the consumer, and to put an end to the repeated violations, especially during the days of Eid Al-Adha.
