Takfiris execute 4 aid workers in northeastern Nigeria

SANAA, July 23 (YPA) -At least  four aid workers and a special security guard were executed Wednesday by takfiri gunmen in northeastern Nigeria.

According to Reuters, The International Rescue Committee and Action Against Hunger confirmed the deaths of their colleagues and other aid workers in statements condemning the executions.

The takfiris posted a video last month in which the hostages identified themselves.

The execution highlights the growing threat to aid workers in north-eastern Nigeria. One of the world’s worst humanitarian crises has been exacerbated by the decades-long conflict with the takfiri group Boko Haram.
