Protest rally in Aden against electricity outages

ADEN, July 22 (YPA) – Dozens of residents protested on Wednesday against electricity outages in Aden province.

Dozens participated in the angry protest event in which they held banners demanding the provision of electricity service.

Participants chanted slogans calling for the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE to provide a stable and permanent electricity system, considering the coalition is the main control over Aden, and it must bear the responsibility before the world.

Aden is living in a state of repeated interruption of the electricity system due to old generation stations, which are outdated and whose default period expired more than 20 years ago.
