Yemeni riyal continues to decline significantly in southern provinces

SANAA, July 22 (YPA) – The exchange rate of Yemeni riyal decreased Wednesday significantly in the southern provinces, influenced by the tension between the armed factions loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Abyan province and the dispute between the Southern Transitional Council and the Central Bank of Aden.

The exchange rate of riyal reached 758 riyals per dollar in Aden province, and 754 riyals in Hadramout province.

Meanwhile, the riyal exchange rate maintained its stability at 600 riyals per dollar, while the average price of dollar on the black market reached 605 riyals in the capital Sanaa.
