Rains expected to continue in most provinces: Meteorological Center

SANAA, July 21 (Saba) – The National Meteorological Center expected that the torrential rain accompanied by thunderstorms will continue in most of the country’s areas  in mountainous areas, deserts, internal plateaus, and parts of the southern, eastern and western coasts and the adjacent regions.

In a warning bulletin, the center advised citizens in those areas not be present in the bottoms of valleys and waterways, and to take the necessary precautions from landslides, mudslides and the decrease in the range of horizontal visibility.

The center said the air is still saturated with water vapor, due to the effect of the depression in the upper atmosphere, or what is called (the eastern wave), which affected the country’s atmosphere during the past three days.
