Brazil becomes second country in Coronavirus injuries

SANAA, July 21 (YPA) – Brazilian Ministry of Health on Monday announced the registration of 20,257 new confirmed cases of the emerging coronavirus, and that the deaths from its Covid-19 disease have exceeded 80,000.
This brings the total infections in Brazil, the second most contagious country in the world after the United States, to two million and 118,646, while the total deaths reached 80120 after recording 632 new deaths, according to Reuters.
This comes as two other government ministers said they were infected with the emerging virus, bringing the number of infected ministers to four.
Citizens Minister Onyx Lorenzoni and newly appointed Education Minister Milton Ribeiro announced on social media that the results of their examinations were positive and that they were subject to quarantine.
Lorenzoni said on his Twitter account, that he began to feel symptoms on Thursday and was examined on Friday.
He added that he was receiving treatment with a mixture of drugs, including hydroxychloroquine, and that his condition showed “positive effects” as a result.
Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was also infected with Corona this month after suffering a fever.
The results of the tests of Augusto Heleno, the national security adviser to Polsonaro, and the Minister of Mines and Energy Pinto Albuquerque, also proved positive for the virus.
