Saudi Arabia refuses to receive any ship to Socotra province

SOCOTRA, July 20 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia on Monday refused to receive any ship not being obtained a permit by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Socotra province.

According to sources, the Saudi forces handed over the island’s port to manage by the STC militias, after they expelled the Coast Guard forces from the port, two days ago.

The STC militias imposed its control of the city of Hadibu on June 19, 2020, with the complicity of the Saudi forces, and forced the Saudi-backed Islah Party-appointed Socotra governor Ramzi Mahrous to feel to Mahra.
