YPC confirms continuation of emergency plan

SANAA, July 19 (YPA) – The Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) announced on Sunday the continuation of work according to the emergency plan, as the released quantity of oil derivatives is sufficient only for several days.

The company said, in a statement, that “Saudi-led aggression coalition is still holding twenty fuel-loaded ships off Jizan port.”

The statement indicated to the deterioration of the supply situation with regard to the diesel material on which the vital sectors depend and may be stopped during the coming days as a result of the running out of diesel stocks.

The company stressed the necessity of the immediate release of the oil derivative ships, holding the United Nations responsible for the catastrophic consequences of the continued detention of the oil ships and preventing their arrival at the port of Hodeidah.
