Rainy weather expected for coming 24 hours

SANAA, July 19 (YPA) – Moderate to heavy rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, on separate areas of the western highlands, has been expected within the next 24 hours.

According to the National Center of Meteorology, the rain would be extended towards the internal plateaus of the governorates of Bayda, Mahra, Shabwa and Hadhramaut and parts of the eastern and southern coasts, in addition to Marib and Jawf provinces might be affected by light to medium shower.

The center expected in its weather forecast, the continuing instability on parts of the western mountainous highlands and the interior plateaus, as well as the southern, eastern and western coasts.

It called on citizens stay away valleys and streams of floods, and to take the necessary precautions from rock landslides and mudslides, as well as a decrease of horizontal visibility due to heavy fog.
