Driver killed in attack on oil tanker in Abyan

ABYAN, July 18 (YPA) – Al-Kazem tribes in the occupied Abyan governorate destroyed on Saturday an oil tanker and killed its driver in the province, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that the tanker was targeted while trying to go to Saudi-backed Islah militants in the main road in the city of Shakra.

The sources explained the oil tanker was targeted by tribal gunmen who fired an RPG shell on the tanker, destroying completely and in al-Jabr area of Abyan.

According to the sources, targeting the oil tanker came in response to the killing of one of its sons, Ali Mohammad Saleel Al-Kazmi, and his companion with an explosive device on Friday.
