Yemeni astronomer reveals air depression on Yemen

SANAA, July 18 (YPA) – The Yemeni astronomer, Adnan Al-Shawafi, revealed on Saturday an air depression affecting Arab region, including Yemen, within the next week.

Al-Shawafi said in a statement that on Saturday would start the effects of the low pressure region in the Arabian Sea on the Sultanate of Oman, which leads to the flow of a high moisture air mass and the formation of cumulative clouds.

The statement pointed out that the low air impacts on Yemen would start on Sunday, with rainfall on Sunday and Monday on the eastern plateaux and expanding to cover parts of the eastern coasts and deserts in Mahra and Hadramout and Shabwa until western Yemen.

Regarding the temperatures in Yemen, Al-Shawafi expected that the coastal regions, especially the eastern and southern parts of Yemen, would witness a noticeable decrease in temperatures, during the day and at night.
