24 new cases of COVID-19 reported in southern Yemen

ADEN, July 18 (YPA) – Health authorities in Saudi-led coalition-backed government on Friday have recorded 24 new coronavirus cases in occupied provinces.

The Control Committee tasked with confronting the coronavirus said in a tweet that it had recorded 12 cases in Hadhramaut, five cases in Taiz and four cases in Mahrah, as well as recording one case in each of Shabwah, Dhalea and Bayda provinces.

The committee added that it has recorded two death cases in Taiz and Bayda provinces.

It also noted that no recovery case has been reported.

According to the committee, the total number of cases of the new coronavirus Covid-19 has risen to (1576) cases, including (440) deaths and (695) recoveries.
