Armed attack targets home of commander loyal to Islah in Taiz

TAIZ, July 18 (YPA) – Gunmen loyal to UAE-backed 35 brigade forces targeted on Saturday a home of a military commander loyal to Islah party in Taiz province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources confirmed that four military pick-up vehicles moved from al-Ayin area in Bayhan mountain to al-Turbah city and targeted the home of Abduh Nuaaman al-Zuraiqi by heavy machine guns in al-Shamaitin district.

Fierce clashes erupted among al-Zuraiqi guards who repelled the attack, the sources added.

The attack left heavy damage to citizens’ homes.
