Citizen killed in Saudi-led shelling in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, July 16 (YPA) – A citizen was killed on Thursday evening in US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s bombardment on civilians’ homes in Hodeidah province, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

The mercenaries launched mortar shells at civilians’ homes and property in al-Jablyah area of al-Tuhita district, killing the citizen and leaving heavy damage .

Earlier in the day, The Liaison and Coordination Officers’ Operations Room to monitor violations of Sweden Agreement in Hodeidah province on Thursday recorded 115 violations by Saudi-led coalition forces during the past 24 hours.

Among the violations were the flying of 10 spy planes in the airspace of Kilo 16 and al-Mandhar areas in Hodeidah city, al-Faza area of Hays district, and al-Jabaliya area of al-Tuhita district, according to a source in the operations room.

The source indicated that the violations also included 26 breaches by launching 92 rockets and artillery shells and 79 breaches by shooting various live bullets.
