SANAA, July 16 (YPA) – A workshop entitled “Drug crimes under the microscope”, organized by the Training and Qualification Department at the Office of the Attorney General, was concluded on Thursday in the Sanaa.
The two-day workshop comes within the framework of the public prosecution programs to enhance capabilities, correct the procedural course and institutionalize the work.
The workshop aimed to provide 33 judges from the courts and procurations and judicial police with the capabilities needed to issue directives and properly evaluate procedures for investigation and seizure, and prepare inference minutes.
In the workshop, the Attorney General Judge Nabil Nasser al-Azzani urged redoubling efforts to control crime and secure society from its dangers.
He praised the role of the security services in detecting crime, especially drug crimes, which requires mastery of many technical and legal skills, stressing the need to strengthen coordination between the prosecution and security services in this aspect.
