SANAA, July 16 (YPA) – The United Nations envoy, Martin Griffith strongly condemned on Thursday the air strike carried out by Saudi-led coalition’s warplanes on Jawf province which led to the death of dozens of citizens, including children.
He said in a statement, “We deplore the air strike that targeted Jawf province yesterday, and several civilians, including children, were killed according to the initial reports”.
The envoy demanded an investigation into targeting civilians and committing massacres by Saudi-led coalition’s fighter jets, adding that attacking civilians is illegal.
“It is unacceptable that the war continues with such a devastating impact on the lives of Yemenis”, he added.
