UNICEF comments on coalition’s crime in Jawf

SANAA, July 15 (YPA) – The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) on Wednesday expressed its “dismay” at the deaths and injuries of civilians, including children, in Saudi-led coalition airstrikes attack in Jawf province in northeastern Yemen.

” We are dismayed by reports of killing and injury of civilians including children in an attack in Jawf Yemen.  Children must be protected all times, especially now during COVID19, “UNICEF said on its twitter account.

The organization called on “all warring parties in Yemen to put an end to violence and protect civilians, wherever they are in the country.”

Earlier Twenty-five civilians, including women and children, were killed and others injured in air strikes launched by the aggression coalition fighter jets  on a women’s wedding at the home of the citizen Mabkhout Marzouq Marei in  al-Mesa’afah area of al-Hazm district of Jawf province.
