Yemeni army unveils new missiles, Saudi aircraft bomb Abha airport

SANAA, July 14 (YPA) – Deputy Director of the Moral Guidance Department of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Abdullah bin Amer, has revealed that the army possesses new types of missiles.

During his interview with Al-Masirah TV Channel on Monday night, Brig. bin Amer also revealed evidence documenting Saudi warplanes’ bombing on the car park at Abha Airport, while trying to counter the Yemeni missile forces and drones attacks.

“Our operations are a response to the enemy’s attacks and all our targets are linked to the military side,” Brig. bin Amer said. “The Yemeni armed forces’ operations are not indiscriminate and do not target civilians in Saudi cities.”

He explained:, “The confusion in the Saudi air defenses (in front of the Yemeni missiles and drones) is what leads to civilian casualties. We have evidence that Saudi warplanes bombed the parking lot at Abha International Airport.”

Brigadier bin Amer indicated that the army had developed and possesses new types of ballistic missiles, saying “There is a new type of ballistic missiles that will be revealed at the appropriate time.”

He commented on the wide military operation of the missile force and drones in the Saudi depth on Monday by saying: “Today, we are before a major operation in the Saudi depth and inside. The time of limited operations and narrow geographical range is over. ”

“We were launching one ballistic missile in the operation, and today we are launching batches of missiles and drones,” he added.

He pointed out that “the strategic goal of the armed forces is to stop the aggression and lift the siege, and the duty of the armed forces is to continue to respond.”
