Meeting in Sanaa to discuss aspects of coordination between Ministry of Expatriate Affairs, Shura Council
SANAA, July 13 (YPA) – A meeting was held on Sunday to discuss aspects of coordination between Ministry of Expatriate Affairs and Shura Council and to discuss mechanisms to deal with expatriate issues in diaspora.
The meeting that included the Deputy Minister of Expatriate Affairs, the head of the Political and Foreign Relations Committee in the Shura Council, Chairman of the Administrative Reform Committee of the Council and the members of the Political Committee, Foreign Relations, Ministry’s Undersecretaries and Assistant Undersecretaries discussed the role of the Ministry of Expatriates Affairs in caring for expatriates in this exceptional stage.
The Deputy Minister pointed out to the suffering of the stranded expatriates, especially in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states under the siege and coronavirus epidemic.
The Ministry seeks to help expatriates through coordination with the relevant government agencies, in addition to communicating and coordinating with the heads and members of the Yemeni administrative bodies of expatriates abroad, to resolve expatriate issues.
Everyone who attended the meeting confirmed their willingness to overcome the difficulties that would serve the expatriates and their issues.
