Pro-UAE policeman killed, 2 injured in Aden 

ADEN, May 12 (YPA) – A policeman loyal to UAE occupation forces was killed and two others wounded in armed attack on Saturday in Yemen’s southern province of Aden, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

Unknown gunmen opened fire on a police patrol near Abdulqawi neighborhood in Mansoura district of Aden city, killing Mohammed Ma’wia and injuring two others of the patrol members.

The injured were taken to a hospital in the city, while the gunmen managed to escape after being pursued by another security patrol, the sources added.

The city of Aden suffers from security chaos and growing of assassinations and terrorist bombings that target the UAE-backed forces, especially by militant militias of Islah Party (Muslim Brotherhood) and elements of Al-Qaeda spread in the southern provinces.
