Coalition forces commit new massacre against Maqshad’s family in Marib

MARIB, July 9 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition forces on Wednesday committed a large massacre against the family of Sheikh Naji Saeed Maqshad in Madghal district of Marib province.

Ali bin Mohsin Salah, one of the officers of the so-called general staff of Hadi government forces, said in a post on Facebook on Wednesday that the coalition forces artillery accidentally bombarded the house of Sheikh Maqshad in al-Zira village in Aal Maqshad area in Madghal district.

Salah confirmed that the shelling resulted in a number of dead and wounded.

He indicated that the shelling came as a result of great confusion among the coalition forces, after the Yemeni army forces and the popular committees took control of al-Mayyah area and cut off the international road to the city of Marib.
