Pro-coalition commander escapes assassination attempt in Mocha

TAIZ, July 8 (YPA) – A commander loyal to the Saudi-led aggression coalition escaped on Wednesday an assassination attempt in Mocha district of Taiz province, sources said.

The sources confirmed that unknown gunmen riding a motorbike, who are believed to be militants of “the UAE-backed Tariq Afash forces in the district, opened fire at the head of so-called media department of the sons of Tihama, Mahmoud Yahya Habira.

Earlier, a number of militants were wounded in fierce clashes break out in al-Jaday area in the distinct between Tariq Afash’s militants and Tihamah sons, the sources added.
