Army repels large-scale militias’ infiltration in Najran

NAJRAN, May 10 (YPA) – The army  on Thursday repelled a large-scale infiltration of Saudi-backed militias in Najran Saudi border province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The infiltration, backed by coalition warplanes and Apache helicopters, was repelled in Talaa site.

Dozens of the militias were killed and wounded and two military vehicles were destroyed during the repelling.

Furthermore, the engineering unit of the army destroyed a military vehicle, loaded with militias, in the west of Sudais site, while missile and artillery shelling targeted gathering of militias in Talaa, Qiada and Shabaka sites.

Also in the west of Sudais site, three of the militias were shot dead, said the official.
