UAE reinforces its militias in Shabwah

SHABWAH, July 1 (YPA) – The UAE occupation forces have reinforced its militias stationed at the al-Alam camp, located on the outskirts of the City of Ataq, the center of Shabwah province in southern Yemen, local sources said on Wednesday.

According to the sources, military armoured and military  vehicles, including Emirati officers and militias loyal to the UAE, arrived from the port of Balhaf to  al-Alam camp, northwest of the city of Ataq.

The sources added that planes escorted the military convoy from Balhaf to the camp.

The move came amid UAE-Saudi arrangements to reformulate the situation in southern Yemen according to a revised draft of the Riyadh agreement.
