Iran records 2489 new injuries,144 deaths in with Corona

SANAA, June 28 (YPA) – Iranian Ministry of Health announced on Sunday the registration of 2489 new cases of Coronavirus, and 144 deaths.
The Ministry of Health statement stated: “2489 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded, bringing the total number of cases to 222,669, of whom 2,946 were in critical condition in intensive care facilities, and 144 deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of deaths to 10,508.”

The statement pointed out that the number of people recovering from the infection increased to 183301, and 1,610,869 corona diagnostic examinations were conducted in Iran to date.

The ministry said that the provinces of Khuzestan, Kurdistan, West Azerbaijan, Hormuzgan, and Kermanshah are in red health status, and an increase in corona infection rates has been recorded in the provinces of Bushehr, Ilam, East Azerbaijan, Khorasan.

On Saturday, the Ministry announced the registration of 2,456 new cases of coronavirus and 125 deaths.
