SANAA, June 28 (YPA) – At least two people were killed and four others injured Sunday in a shooting at a cargo distribution center in California.
According to Allison Hendrickson, manager of media relations for Dignity Health North State, the company’s hospital received a total of six patients from the Walmart distribution center in Red Bluff, California.
Hendrickson said two people were killed and four were in good condition, but she could not provide information on the nature of the injuries or the ages of the people who were taken to hospital.
Lt. Yvette Borden, Tehama County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman told CNN by phone that they received several calls from the distribution center to report an active shooting.
A Walmart spokesman told CNN they were aware of the situation. We don’t have any additional information we share at this time.”
The shooting site is still very active and law enforcement is clearing the building, the district police spokeswoman said, noting that the building is too large.
Law enforcement officers had already completed a preliminary survey of the building in search of the shooter and potential victims.
