3 deaths, 688 coronavirus infections recorded in Kuwait

SANAA, June 27 (YPA) – Kuwait announced on Saturday that it recorded 688 new infections with the Corona virus and three deaths during the past 24 hours.

The spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, Abdullah Al-Sanad, said that 688 new cases of the virus were recorded, bringing the total number of cases recorded in the country to 44,391, while three deaths were recorded as a result of the disease, bringing the total deaths to date to 344 cases.

Al-Sanad explained that the 688 cases recorded today included 444 cases of Kuwaiti citizens and 244 of non-Kuwaitis.

He pointed out that the number of those receiving medical care in intensive care is 155 people, bringing the total of all cases that have been diagnosed with “Covid-19” and still receiving the necessary medical care 9461 cases.
