13 new coronavirus cases reported in southern Yemen

ADEN, June 27 (YPA) – Authorities in Saudi-led coalition-backed government on Friday have recorded 13 new coronavirus cases in occupied provinces.

The Control Committee tasked with confronting the coronavirus said in a tweet that it had recorded five cases in Hadhramaut, five other cases in Taiz, and two cases were recorded in Aden and another case in Lahj province.

The committee added that it has recorded 16 recovery cases, 11 of which were reported in Taiz and five others in Hadhramaut, while recording five death cases in Shabwah, Dhalea, Hadhramaut and Lahj provinces.

According to the committee, the total number of cases of the new coronavirus Covid-19 has risen to (1089) cases, including (293) deaths and (402) recoveries.
