Advisor to Marib governor in Hadi’s gov’t wounded in al-Abdiya front

MARIB, June 24 (YPA) – Leading member of Islah Party and advisor to governor of Marib province in Hadi’s government Abdullah Mohammed Nakir suffered a severe injured on Wednesday in al-Abdiya front.

“Nakir was seriously wounded while participating in the fighting within Saudi-led coalition forces in the al-Abdiya district, southwest of Marib province,” sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources added that Nakir was transferred for treatment in a hospital in the city of Marib, amid severe hush.

According to the sources, Captain Azzam Ahmed Saleh Musa Al-Abdali and First Lieutenant Abdulnasser Abdullah al-Areef were killed in the al-Abdiya clashes.

The al-Abdiya district is witnessing fierce battles, during which the army and the popular committees were able to make new advances, amid the accelerating collapses of the coalition forces.
