SANAA, June 24 (YPA) – Six civilians, including women and children, were killed on Wednesday by an explosive device in northern Afghanistan.
“Six civilians were killed by a roadside bomb in the Mardian district of the province,” said Abdul-Marouf Azar, a spokesman for the Jawzjan County government.
“There are three children and two women among the victims,” the official added.
Meanwhile, Interior Ministry spokesman Tariq Arian blamed the Taliban analysts for masterminding the bombing.
The Taliban movement, which is active in parts of Jawzjan Province and its capital, Sheberghan, has not yet commented on the bombing.
