Pro-coalition commander killed in Marib along with 2 of his escorts

MARIB, June 23 (YPA) – A senior military commander, affiliated with Islah Party loyal to Saudi-led coalition, was killed along with two of his escorts in Marib province on Tuesday, field sources reported.

According to the sources, Brigadier General Naji Ali Hanashl, chief of operations at the so-called “third military region”, was killed in al-Kassara front in Serwah district, west of Marib, while fighting the army and the popular committees.

The sources added that six of Hanshal’s escorts were also injured, three of whom were in critical conditions and taken to a hospital in the city of Marib.
