Health Minister opens health isolation hospital in Hajjah

HAJJAH, June 21 (YPA) – Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakkil and Governor of Hajjah province Hilal al-Sufi opened on Sunday the health isolation hospital in al-Rahdhi district in the province center.

After the opening, the Health Minister and the Governor listened to an explanation from the Director of the Health Office Dr. Ibrahim al-Ashwal about the equipment and efforts made to complete the hospital’s buildings and its sections.

Al-Ashwal explained that the hospital includes 100 beds, eight intensive care beds equipped with respirators and 26 emergency beds, as well as medical cadres qualified and trained for dealing with COVID-19 epidemic.

The Health Minister praised the efforts made in equipping the isolation hospital to confront Corona.
