Three people killed in stabbing attack in Reading

SANAA, June 21 (YPA) – At least three people died and three others were seriously injured in a stabbing attack in Reading, the UNited Kingdom, on Saturday, Police said.

According to Reuters, Chief Supt. Ian Hunter said that this is “not currently” being treated as a terrorism incident and the motive was unclear, but the police are dealing with the motive with an open mind and are supported by colleagues from the South East Counter-Terrorism Police.”

A 25-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder, he added.

Earlier, British media reported that three people were killed and two injured were taken to hospital after the Reading attack south of London.

According to Britain’s Telegraph newspaper, “three people were killed and two injured were taken to hospital after the Reading attack.”
