SANAA, June 20 (YPA) – The US administration is trying to pretend not to be involved in the war on Yemen through statements that contradict the reality of the events.
Commander of the US Central Command General Kenneth McKenzie said that Saudi Arabia was honestly seeking to resolve the conflict in Yemen according to declared agreements.
The move came in a remark to the Middle East Institute and tweeted on the CENTCOM’s official Arabic page.
He said he believed Riyadh was ready to negotiate and that it has good intentions to resolve the crisis.
Commander of US Army Central Command Frank McKenzie reiterated Saturday that Saudi Arabia is genuinely seeking an agreed end to the conflict in Yemen.
McKenzie added that my appreciation is based on dialogue. Dialogue between the Saudi parties and the meetings they have held there, and that the Kingdom is sincerely seeking a negotiated end to the conflict in Yemen.
Despite Washington’s denial of the presence of its troops in Yemen, Trump confirmed the military presence of his troops in Yemen to manage the war in a long letter Trump sent to the US Congress on the 11th of this month.
This puts into question the usefulness of statements about Frank McKenzie and the credibility of the US administration to end the war runs from Washington and provide the coalition with more weapons to kill the Yemeni people.
For more than six years, Saudi Arabia has led a military coalition in Yemen that has killed 16,672 civilians, wounded 26,079, destroyed its infrastructure and placed it in the world’s worst humanitarian crisis with direct support from Washington.
