Civilian killed in Turkish raid in northern Iraq

SANAA, June 19 (YPA) – A civilian was killed in a Turkish airstrike, on Friday, the third day of an air and ground military operation launched by Ankara in northern Iraq, allegedly to fight the PKK rebels.
The news agency “Agence France Presse” quoted an official in the Bradost district of Dohuk governorate, asking not to be identified, as saying: “A shepherd was killed in a Turkish air strike on the area at dawn Friday, and he is considered the first civilian victim of the Turkish attack.”
