Coalition forces wage airstrikes on Bayda to back mercenary leader

BAYDA, June 17 (YPA) – On Wednesday evening, the coalition air force launched several airstrikes on Bayda province, to support of Yasser al-Awadhi, who blew up the situation militarily in the province.

According to a security source in the province, coalition warplanes were targeted by four air strikes on the Redman and al- Sawadiyah districts
Yemeni army spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sare’e announced earlier that the mercenary Yasser al-Awadhi blew up the situation militarily in the province after he received direct support of the coalition countries.

He pointed out that what happened today in the district of Redman area of Al Awad is a clear and blatant attack on citizens, the army and popular committees supported by the Coalition of Aggression with all kinds of financial support, logistics, arming and training, as well as deploying in the mountains and creating sectarian and regional incitement in an effort to blow up the situation in the region without any justification.

Al-Awadi is aligned with the coalition countries to implement their agenda after receiving military aid, money and weapons, and rejecting all mediation from tribal elders and mayors, he said.

He continued: It is an obligation to confront him and defend the citizens, save the country and its security and stability dependent on Allah Almighty.”

Sare’e assured all the honorable citizens of the homeland, especially Bayda governorate, that the armed forces would remain on their side to protect them from the tools of the coalition of aggression.

He called on all the tribes of the province to stand by the state against bandits and coalition tools who trade with innocent blood, until the area is secured and the aggressors are cut off.
