Yemeni Parliament condemns taking coalition off blacklist of children’s rights violators

SANAA, June 17 (YPA) – The Yemeni Parliament on Wednesday condemned the United Nations decision to remove Saudi-led coalition’s name from the blacklist for violators of children’s rights.

The Parliament stressed that the United Nations was supposed to play its role in bringing the perpetrators of war crimes against the Yemeni people to international courts.

This came during the Parliament’s meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of Speaker Yahya al-Ra’i and included a number of heads and rapporteurs of the permanent committees of the House.
