International organizations call for probe into Shada massacre

SANAA, June 17 (YPA) – Eight international non-governmental organizations operating in Yemen have condemned the horrific attack on the Shada district in the northern province of Saada, which took place on Monday, leaving 13 civilians killed, including four children and a woman.

Officials at the Norwegian Council, Oxfam, Save the Children and other international coalitions called for “an investigation and accountability to the warring parties responsible for the attack.”

Saudi-led coalition fighters targeted a car carrying civilians in the Shada district with two raids, killing 13 people.
