Yemeni riyal stabilizes after decline against foreign currencies
SANAA, June 17 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate on Wednesday witnessed a relative stability, recording 755 riyals per dollar in Aden and 737 riyals per dollar in Hadramout provinces, southern Yemen.
In the capital Sanaa, the riyal exchange rate reached 625 riyals per dollar, while the average price of dollar on the black market reached 605 riyals.
The dollar’s price remained stable at 250.50 riyals in the Central Bank in Sanaa, and 498 riyals in other Yemeni banks in the capital Sanaa, while banks stopped selling foreign currencies.
