Saudi airstrikes destroy two telecommunication networks in Amran

AMRAN, June 16 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition air forces have  destroyed two telecommunication networks in Amran province, northern Yemen, an official told Saba News Agency on Tuesday night.

According to the official, Saudi-led coalition warplanes waged two airstrikes targeted telecommunication network at Tharwa Mountain in Thibeen district, destroying it completely.

Moreover, the official confirmed that the aggression airstrike targeted telecommunications networks in Bani-Suraim district, led to its complete destruction as well,  the official said.

The attack caused disrupting of communications and internet services for five directorates in the province, in addition to destroying the broadcasting station he added.

He strongly deplored the continued targeting of the telecommunications infrastructure in light of clear complicity of the international community and its organizations

He called on the United Nations, the Security Council, international and humanitarian organizations to take responsibility in order to stop the Saudi-led coalition crimes and violations against the Yemeni people.
