Army continues to advance militarily in Marib

MARIB, June 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni army has continued to make the military progress towards in the outskirts of Marib city, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Tuesday.

The official affirmed that the army attacked and stormed the western camp of Mas in al-Jadan district during the fierce battles with the Saudi-led aggression coalition and its mercenaries.

Several oft the Saudi officers and soldiers fled from the camp to the center of Marib city by armored military vehicles during the armed confrontations,the official added.

Meanwhile, the aggression coalition fighter jets waged a series of strikes in an attempt to stop the progress of the army towards Al-Jafra and Mas camp.

During the confrontations, Mas camp was widespread looted by seventh military zone’s recruits and tribesmen in the province.
