Motorcycle driver assassinated in Sayoun

HADRAMOUT, June 16 (YPA) – Unidentified gunmen assassinated on Tuesday a motorcyclist in a market in Sayoun city of Hadramout province, eastern Yemen.

Local sources told Yemen Press Agency that unknown gunmen shot the citizen “Fayez Barmada” while driving his motorbike in front of Mukalla Souq and transport station in Sayoun city.

The sources confirmed that the victim died immediately, while the perpetrators fled, and the motives or causes of the crime have not been known so far.

This comes within the continuing security chaos being witnessed by Hadramout valley areas, especially killings and assassinations of military and security personnel and civil figures, amid popular demands to address security imbalances and put an end to them.
